Curriculum Development Experience

            This, without any doubt, has been and always will be my best strength and interest.  The following is a list of my curriculum activities over the last 6 years.

  1. Developed a Doctoral Program in Applied Information Technology. This program is being offered since Fall 2004.

  2. Worked with Beijing Polytechnic University to design a Joint Graduate program in Applied Information Technology. This program is to be started at Beijing Polytechnic University in Summer 2003.

  3. Helped to develop a Master’s Degree in E-Business. This program is under review at MHEC.

  4. Developed a Master’s Degree in Applied Information Technology. This program is offered through Center for Applied Information technology, Towson University, since November, 1999.

  5. Developed 6 Graduate Certificate Programs in:

                        Software Engineering,

                        Networking Technologies,

                        Information Security and Assurance,

                        Information Systems Management, and

                        Internet Application Development.

                        Database Management Systems

            These Graduate Certificate programs are offered through Center for Applied Information Technology since November 1999.

  1. Fully revised the Computer Science program at Towson University in preparation for CSAB accreditation. The program received 6V accreditation in 1994.

  2. Helped to develop the proposal for a new program in Computer Information Systems at Towson State University, this program is expected to be approved by June 1996.

  3. Developed the proposal for a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Towson University, the program was approved in May 1994.

  4. Helped to develop a joint graduate program (with Management Department) in Decision Science and Information Systems, at Towson University, 1997.

  5. Helped to fully revise the Computer Science program at Towson University in preparation for CSAB accreditation, 1989 and 1992. The program received 6V accreditation in 1994.

  6. Helped to develop the proposal for a new program in Computer Information Systems at Towson University, this program is expected to be approved by June 1996.

  7. Developed the proposal for a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Towson University, the program was approved in May 1994.

  8. Helped to develop a joint graduate program (with Management Department) in Decission Science and Information Systems,at Towson University, submitted in Julay 1996.

  9. Chairing the committee in charge of developing a graduate certificate program in Information Resources Use and Management (IRUM).

  10. Member of the University Curriculum Committee.

  11. Established a new Computer Science Department and Developed a comprehensive undergraduate computer science program at California State University, Bakersfield, 1986-87.

  12. Developed an undergraduate program in CIS, 1984-85. This program is currently being offered at Moorhead State University, Computer Science Department.

  13. Developed a graduate program in Computer Science, 1980-81. This program has been offered since September, 1981 at Moorhead State University.
